Feature controls
Choose which Site Secure modules are visible to your organization.
Feature controls let Owners roll out Site Secure gradually. A module can be available in the plan but hidden until the organization is ready to use it.
Three checks control visibility
A user sees a workflow only when the subscription tier includes it, the feature control is enabled, and the user's role can access it. The full matrix lives in roles and tiers.
Use feature controls to
- Pilot a module with one crew.
- Hide workflows until training is complete.
- Keep PMs and Admins focused on the sites and modules they own.
- Troubleshoot missing menu items or dashboard tiles.
Role capabilities
Owners use Manage Permissions to enable or disable punching, operational notifications, and live location tracking for each customer role. These settings can narrow operational participation but cannot grant Owner-only authority. Individual notification preferences and location consent still apply.
Disabling punching blocks new punch-ins for that role but keeps an existing shift visible and punch-out capable. Disabling tracking stops new role-based tracking without changing a person's stored consent.
