First-run walkthrough
Take a new Site Secure organization from setup to the first active crew.
Use this checklist for the first production rollout. Keep the first launch small enough that an admin can review every issue manually.
1. Set up the organization
- Confirm the organization name, timezone, support contact, and login destination.
- Add at least two trusted admins.
- Confirm who owns billing, worker approvals, safety content, and payroll review.
- Add brand details after the operational settings are correct.
2. Pick a pilot crew
Start with one job site, one admin or PM, and a small crew. Enable the basics first:
- Worker approvals
- Job sites
- Timecards
- Certifications
- Toolbox talks
- Messages or notifications, if your team will use them during rollout
3. Create job sites
For each job site, confirm:
- Site name and address
- Assigned admin or PM
- Workers expected on that site
- Required certifications, documents, and toolbox talks
- Timecard approval owner
4. Invite users in order
- Invite admins and confirm they can reach the admin area.
- Invite admins and PMs and confirm they can see the right job sites.
- Invite workers and ask each worker to sign in before the first shift.
- Approve pending workers after confirming name, role, and assignment.
Check access before launch
Use roles and tiers to confirm each pilot workflow is included in the organization's plan and visible to the user's role.
