Billing and tiers
Understand how plan tier affects available modules.
Plan tier affects which Site Secure modules your organization can use. Feature controls decide whether eligible modules are visible to users.
Billing changes do not override roles
Upgrading a plan makes more modules eligible, but users still need the right role and assignment. Use roles and tiers as the source of truth before promising access.
Before changing tier
- Confirm which module the team needs.
- Confirm the target tier includes it.
- Confirm who owns billing approval.
- Train the team before enabling new workflows.
Common tier-sensitive modules
- Essential+: time-off requests and admin review, expanded certification and toolbox workflows.
- Pro+: documents, Field Presence, Spanish support, advanced timecard review, compliance monitoring, reports, and incident reporting.
- Max+: scheduling, calendar views, compliance portal, advanced job-site controls, accrual time-off, and OSHA 301 support.
- Enterprise: SSO, public API, payroll integration, labor analytics, live cameras, retention, audit-ready exports, and email/SMS reminders.
Missing feature troubleshooting
Use feature controls for the step-by-step visibility checklist. Billing should answer whether the plan includes the module; feature controls, role access, assignments, and session refresh decide whether a specific user sees it.
