Timecard review
Check shift records and location evidence before approving or exporting.
Owners and authorized Admins review and correct timecards within their scope. Superintendents can view the admin list and detail; PMs should send correction details to a reviewer with access.
Check the record
- Confirm the worker, date, and clock-in site.
- Compare start, end, and break times with the work performed.
- Review notes, exceptions, overtime, and missed punches.
- Check the site breakdown if the worker moved during the shift.
- Record the reason for any correction before approving or exporting.
Reading location time
A shift can include on-site, off-site, and untracked time. On-site time may span more than one organization site while the day keeps one timecard. Off-site time is a shift total.
Untracked time means the available location evidence could not establish the worker's position for that period. It is not proof of an absence. Stationary periods can still count as on-site or off-site when the surrounding evidence supports that result.
Leaving a site does not end the shift under the standard tracking settings. A long open shift may therefore need a missed-clock-out correction. Confirm the actual end time with the worker rather than using the last GPS point as the answer.
Before exporting
Resolve unclear records with the worker or crew lead. Confirm the date range and site scope, then use the available report or CSV export. Review the output before using it in payroll; an export does not send payroll to another system.
