Notifications help workers see messages, broadcasts, reminders, assigned toolbox talks, and required actions.
Turn on notifications
- Sign in to the mobile app.
- Allow notifications when prompted.
- Keep the app installed and signed in.
Common notification types
- Direct messages and site or organization broadcasts.
- Assigned toolbox talks that open directly to the talk.
- Certification renewal reminders.
- Shift, break-ending, and off-site prompts.
- Time-sensitive alerts that may request high-priority delivery from the phone platform.
If notifications stop
- Open the app and check messages directly.
- Check the phone's notification settings.
- Confirm you are signed in.
- Ask an admin to confirm your account is approved, assigned correctly, and eligible for the notification workflow.
Use the app directly for urgent items if phone banners are delayed.
Phone settings, low power modes, focus modes, and network conditions can still delay or hide banners even when Site Secure sends the notification.
