Device setup
Check permissions, text size, and privacy settings before a shift.
Sign in and open the workflows your company uses before the first shift. This gives you time to resolve a missing permission while help is available.
Permissions
| Permission | Used for |

| Camera | Certification capture, document photos, QR scanning, and required selfies. |
| Photos or files | Selecting records and evidence to upload. |
| Notifications | Messages, assigned talks, reminders, and work requiring attention. |
| Location | Site checks and active-shift location evidence when enabled and consented to. |
For background shift tracking, follow the app's location setup prompts, including background and precise access where requested. Check the permission in your phone settings if tracking stops when the app is closed. Tracking also depends on organization settings, your consent, battery restrictions, and usable location data.
Change a denied permission
Open your phone's settings, find Site Secure, and change the relevant permission. Return to the app and try the workflow again. Ask your supervisor which permissions the work requires if you are unsure.
Readability and analytics
Site Secure follows your device's text-size settings. Increase text size in the phone's accessibility settings if needed.
In App Settings, you can turn in-depth product analytics and replay off or back on. Essential crash diagnostics and required security and audit records are separate from that choice.
