01Why does Site Secure ask for background location?+
Foremen and payroll need to know who clocked in, where, and when. While you're on the clock Site Secure tracks your location in the background — even when the app is closed — to power on-site verification, off-site detection, and accurate timecards. Tracking starts only after you opt in inside the app and stops automatically when you clock out. You can revoke it anytime from your phone's location settings.
02What does Site Secure do with my location data?+
Location is used to verify on-site presence, log clock-in / clock-out events, and trigger off-site events. It is encrypted in transit and at rest, retained per the schedule in our Privacy Policy, and is visible only to authorized administrators in your organization. We do not sell or share location data with advertisers.
03How do I delete my account or my data?+
Email account support from the address on file and we will confirm and process deletion within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements (timecards, OSHA records). If you only want to delete optional data — for example, location history — say so and we will scope the request.
04I forgot my password. What now?+
Open the app, tap Sign in, and use the reset-password link on the sign-in screen. If your email isn't recognized your administrator may need to add or re-invite you — email account support and we will route you to them.
05How fast will I hear back?+
One business day for most requests. Account-sensitive issues (lockouts, deletions, billing) are prioritized. Bug reports may take longer if we need to reproduce the issue on a specific device.
06Are you compliant with OSHA / SOC 2 / GDPR / CCPA?+
